Social organic approach

In business, the socio-organic approach can be defined as a new way of conceptualizing wealth creation within an organization.

In this sense, we can draw a parallel between this approach and what Frédéric Laloux defines as the Opale level in the various stages of organizational evolution.

This last stage corresponds to the inclusive structures emerging in today's organizational environment.

In contrast to earlier stages of organizational evolution, organizations are no longer solely focused on maximizing profits or efficiency. These remain measures of success, but they are no longer the sole drivers of the company. Objectives are now elaborated in qualitative terms: raison d'être, customer satisfaction, employee well-being, long-term vision.

By considering the company - or organization - as a combination of multiple distinct entities, from employees to suppliers, from subcontractors to customers, this approach restores optimal satisfaction of all stakeholders as its objective and raison d'être.

In particular, the organic social approach introduces the idea of social effectiveness, i.e. the impact of an organization on the common well-being of a society.
