Plenitude
The concept of plenitude was first introduced by Frederic Laloux in his book Reinventing Organizations.
In this book, Laloux introduces the concept of the Opale (Teal) organization, a modern approach to organizations, more advanced than traditional hierarchical "do as you're told" structures.
Opale organizations are psychologically safe workplaces where you can give your best, safe in the knowledge that other team members will help and support you in whatever way they can.
These organizations are based on three pillars: trusting others, being fully oneself, and continuing to evolve.
Frederic Laloux refers to these three pillars as :
- Self-management,
- Wholeness,
- Evolutionarypurpose.
The concept of fulfillment refers to the idea thatwithin an Opale organization, you can be fully yourself.
You can explore the skills you want to develop, even if you haven't been specifically trained for them.
You don't have to pretend to be someone else at work to impress a boss or get promoted.
Unleash your organization's potential.
