Wholeness

The concept of wholeness was first introduced by Frederic Laloux in his book Reinventing Organizations.

In this book, Laloux presents the concept of the Teal organization, a modern approach to organizations that is more evolved than traditional hierarchical structures of the "do as you're told" type.

Teal organizations are psychologically safe workplaces where you can bring your best self, assured that other team members will help and support you to the best of their ability.

These organizations are based on three pillars: trusting others, being fully yourself, and continuing to evolve.

Frederic Laloux refers to these three pillars as:

  • Self-management (self-management),
  • Wholeness (wholeness),
  • The evolutionary purpose (evolutionary purpose).

The concept of wholeness refers to the idea that within a Teal organization, you can be fully yourself.

You can explore the skills you want to develop, even if you have not been specifically trained for them.
