Change management

Change management refers to everything that is put in place to help an organization bring about a major change.

By major change, we mean, for example:

  • Modifying the organizational structure after a merger,
  • Implementing a self-organization model such asHolacracy or Sociocracy,
  • Building a corporate culture that improves employee retention.

Although all companies are trying to bring about change, not all of them implement a genuine change management approach.

Change management is about ensuring that change actually works (in other words, that it has the desired effect) and that employees effectively adopt new ways of working.
