Find out how PUR etc. managed to:

  • strengthen the cohesion of its teams
  • encourage and stimulatemutual support between employees
  • save time in exchanging and sharing information
  • transform theemployee experience —starting with onboarding
  • instill high mobile access among team members within just a few months

"Our ambition: to change the world with just a knife and fork"

Presentation of the client

Created in 2011, PUR etc. is a gourmet restaurant chain positioned on the "fast-good" market: home-made dishes based on organic products, to be eaten in or taken away.

The brand currently has around ten restaurants in the Grand-Est and Ile-de-France regions, and employs a total of around 70 people.

Mission

To offer its consumers organic, fair-trade and "home-made" dishes every day, to eat in or take away.

Initial need and context

Initial context

With numerous sites across France (restaurants, kitchens, support functions), PUR etc. faced two internal communication issues:

  • difficulty in getting down and out
  • not being able to use a 'traditional' business communication solution, as most employees do not have a businessemail

The managers of PUR thus looked for an inclusive solution that would allow everyone to connect easily and facilitate cross-functional communication within the teams.

Why did you choose Talkspirit?

PUR etc. chose Talkspirit for three reasons: the access without email professional, the functional richness, and the availability of the Talkspirit team from the start.

Of course, the fact that Talkspirit is 100% made in France and well secured also weighed in the balance.

Implementation Process

Initially tested by some of PUR etc.'s employees, Talkspirit was quickly deployed to all the company's employees.

Benefits

1. Saving time and responsiveness

First and foremost, the implementation of Talkspirit has saved valuable time for PUR etc.'s teams throughout the company. According to Vincent Viaud (co-founder and manager) "exchanges are faster, because the tool makes the transmission of information throughout the company more fluid". By making it possible for employees to contact each other directly (even those who do not have a professional email address), anyone can speak to another employee instantly. This shortens geographical, organizational and hierarchical distances (between restaurants, between support functions and field staff, between any employee and management, etc.). On a day-to-day basis, it allows colleagues to ask each other for help (rebalancing stocks from one restaurant to another, collective thinking to find a solution to a problem, etc.).

2. An asset for integrating new recruits

At PUR etc., the internal social network is now part of the foundation of every new employee's onboarding. The reason is simple: all the information and documents that employees need are available to everyone, from anywhere, at any time, and from any device (PC, mobile, tablet). A clear sign that transparency is not an empty word at PUR etc. Elise S., training manager, is delighted: "Talkspirit allows everyone to feel more integrated and involved in the life of the company. This way, employees can easily participate and give their opinion."

3. A reinvented employee experience

Within teams, the Talkspirit platform transformsemployee experience because it keeps all employees "on the same page." It allows everyone to keep up with the news and feel the pulse of the whole company at any time. With dispersed teams (one in each of the 10 restaurants, a support team operating from the offices, and a kitchen team), PUR has seen the contribution of the platform in terms of cohesion and a sense of belonging among employees. Of course, everyone remains in control of their work-life balance: the "right to disconnect" is protected, and everyone can deactivate notifications outside of working hours.
