- and 57 reception points.
Need and context
Initial context
Until a few years ago, Solimut Mutuelle's only communication tool was "an intranet aging intranet mainly used to get information down."
To boost its internal communication, the company wanted to deploy an enterprise social network to:
- share information in a less top-down and more interactive way,
- bring more visibility to the employees who carry out the company's projects,
- create links between its 500 employees throughout France.
Why did you choose Talkspirit?
After studying the various solutions on the market, Solimut Mutuelle chose to implement Talkspirit. Several criteria made the difference, in particular the functional richness and the fact that it is a French tool that respects the GDPR, which guarantees the security and confidentiality of shared data.
The company also appreciated the proximity and responsiveness of Talkspirit's teams, who made themselves available to answer various questions, as well as the platform's ease of use .
Implementation Process
Deployed at the beginning of 2020, Talkspirit quickly became an essential communication tool for Solimut Mutuelle employees. However, the deployment did not really go as planned...
Initially, the company planned to deploy Talkspirit with a communication plan plan, including the participation of ambassadors. But with the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic, the company had to accelerate the deployment so that its employees could easily communicate and access information remotely.
Result: Solimut Mutuelle implemented Talkspirit in less than a month!
Benefits
1. A more fluid internal communication
Talkspirit's main asset is its ability to make information sharing and access more fluid. "It allows us toinform employees of the initiatives carried out within the company and the Solimut Foundation, and to encourage employees to participate," relates Carine Mearelli, Health Project Manager.
Thanks to the various groups created, everyone can access the information that concerns them, wherever they are, since the platform is accessible via PC, mobile, and tablet. Audrey Viricel, HR Development Manager, uses the HR group, where she regularly shares content, and the general group, which allows her to stay informed of company news.
"Talkspirit is our flagship tool for internal communication: we use it not only for corporate communication but also to moderate and encourage daily exchanges," says Elise Attia, Internal Communication Manager
"Some also use the platform—and the Dopamine group—to share extra-professional information, such as songs, books, or exhibitions they have enjoyed," adds Carine Mearelli. This contributes to developing employee engagement on Talkspirit.

2. Projects and events highlighted
Talkspirit is also used by the teams to report information from the field, and in particular to share events organized in all territories.
"Last September, we organized a challenge to strengthen the cohesion of the different teams. We used the surveys and publications to pose riddles to employees, which they had to solve by searching for information on the platform. The event was a real success," reports the Internal Communications Manager.
Each department can also use the platform to communicate about the projects it's implementing. "For example, the Health project recently published an article on Talkspirit to encourage employees to participate in a web conference on male cancers," says Carine Mearelli.
These publications are an opportunity not only to highlight the successes of each team, but also to thank and congratulate the employees involved.

3. Interactive and unifying exchanges
Finally, Talkspirit helps to stimulate exchanges and create links between geographically distant employees. "Thanks to thedirectory, everyone knows each other's roles, and that's very important in a multi-site company," emphasizes the Internal Communication Manager.
On the news feed, employees can react and comment on their colleagues' publications, and participate in events organized on Talkspirit, which creates more interaction and proximity between the different teams.
Talkspirit also allows you to to gather all the information in one place, which helps unite geographically dispersed employees," says Audrey Viricel. "Today, their first reflex is to open Talkspirit as soon as they arrive at work, and to search and request information on it when they have questions," adds Elise Attia. This is a good indication of themassive adoption of the tool!
